Maybe you're thinking about ending it and you haven't told a single person in your life. Maybe you just feel heavy, numb, and completely exhausted and you cannot explain why and can't figure out how to make any of it stop. You've been carrying this alone for a long time, and carrying it alone is clearly not working anymore. You don't need another hotline that puts you on hold, a brochure with a number on it, or someone who makes you feel like you're overreacting for how bad it has gotten. You need a real person who will sit with you while it is this messy and not rush you out the door. HOW WE HELP My Mind is a space to say "I'm not okay" and not get brushed off, rushed out, or handed a sticky note. You sit with someone who has lived through their own darkness — not a professional guessing from the outside at what your pain must feel like. We slow everything down. You can talk, cry, or sit quiet if that's all you've got right now. We help you name what is going on if you want to, look honestly at how safe you are in this moment, and figure out a real next step for the next day or two. If you need more support than we can give here, we help you find it and figure out how to actually get there — not just point at a number and send you out the door. WHAT'S DIFFERENT This is not a hotline. There is no script. No "have you tried breathing?" while you're falling apart. No making you feel dramatic or weak for struggling this hard. You get both: someone who truly hears you and a concrete next move you can actually take right now in the exact state you are in.
